Pottery Pond is a former clay pit, set in 6 acres of woodland, extends to some 4.5 acres of water offering a very attractive and natural setting. Over the past ten years Pottery Pond has been well managed, resulting in a balanced, healthy bio-system giving good growth rates to all fish. This venue is suited to the specimen angler or the angler looking for a challenge. The lake is heavily stocked with fish: Common and Mirror Carp, Crucian Carp, Pike, Roach, Rudd, Chub, Bream, Barbel, Perch, Tench and Gudgeon. Specimen fish caught this year include Pike to 31.5lb, Carp to 21.5lb, Tench to 10lb, Bream to 10lb, Crucian Carp to 3.5lb. The lake has a silt bottom producing a lot of its own natural food. 54 pegs at 11 metre intervals. Ample car park within yards of the lakeside. Pegs and access suitable for the disabled angler.
